Sir Walter Buffalo Turf
Sir Walter Buffalo
Sir Walter Buffalo is a popular buffalo turf, bred specifically to thrive in Australian conditions. Renowned for its durability, versatility, and low-maintenance requirements, it is an excellent choice for both residential and commercial landscapes.
Once established, Sir Walter requires less watering, mowing, and fertilising than many other turf varieties, making it an easy-care lawn for busy homeowners. Its dense growth habit and low-thatch structure help create a lush, healthy lawn that is simple to maintain.
Sir Walter performs exceptionally well in both full sun and shaded areas, making it ideal for a wide range of garden environments. It is particularly well suited to areas beneath trees, where it can thrive with only a few hours of sunlight each day.
The soft leaf texture and low-allergy characteristics make it a great option for families, while its hard-wearing nature stands up well to active children and pets. Its vigorous growth also allows it to recover quickly from wear and tear.
Naturally resistant to many common pests and fungal diseases, Sir Walter requires fewer chemical treatments and has modest fertiliser needs, making it an environmentally responsible lawn choice.
With its rich emerald-green colour and outstanding tolerance to drought, heat, shade, cold, and coastal conditions, Sir Walter Buffalo delivers year-round performance and visual appeal. Whether for a backyard lawn, park, school, or commercial landscape, Sir Walter is a proven performer across a wide range of applications.
